The meeting began with approval of the June minutes.

2013 invoice for website maintenance: $ 156.26
July 9 balance: $9,102.53
2014 Chamber sponsored Street Fair: September 27, noon to 11PM.

Music/bands are currently being scheduled: current Landmark Quartette, Balderdash, & Robin Lagy.
With the closing of the Rail House a new sponsor w/liquor license is being sought > craft & light beers distributors. There was brief discussion regarding access to Mad Tree customer lists (event promotion).
Food vendors to date include Chili, barbeque, & burgers.
Music: Landmark to open, Balderdash in early evening, Robin Lacy in late evening,
Karen’s Carriage to provide horse drawn rides through village
Unanimously agreed to hire publicist Nancy Macenko to promote event
1st Tuesdays – Business After-Hours:
Chamber business members are invited – encouraged – to ‘adopt’ a 1st Tuesday of a month.
This is an opportunity to socialize, improve network, and bring patrons into Glendale.
Need host for July, Running Spot will host August 5th, 6 to 8PM
2nd Saturdays – Sidewalk Sale
Chamber business members are invited – encouraged – to participate in extending her or his businesses out onto the side walk in front of the store every month on the 2nd Saturday – weather permitting.
The meeting closed with brief brainstorming regarding soliciting media savvy resident volunteer who could manage chamber social media.
