Glendale Map – showing 2013 Chamber members, potential members and vacant “zoned business” locations.
Introduce quarterly meetings with the Village Administrator and our Mayor to openly discuss equal participation is Village events. I would like to form a committee that would be willing to meet with myself and the Village to discuss openly, how we can work together to better the Chamber / Village working relationship. March 20th. Loretta and I visited nine businesses along Sharon Rd. We received great response from the businesses. Some may be interested in joining the chamber while others were simply happy to see and talk with the village and the chamber. During our visit Loretta discussed the upcoming street project taking place on Sharon Rd. and provided handouts with information about the project, contact names / numbers, etc.
Our next scheduled date to continue visiting business on Congress is set for April 24th starting at 1:00PM. A third date will be scheduled for those remaining businesses.
As we visit additional business locations I will begin to update the Glendale map showing business locations and vacancies. Hoping this will help the
chamber understand better where chamber members are and where the chamber needs to concentrate their efforts to better support those who are not members.
