First on the agenda was a presentation by Nancy DeCastro and Patty Baker. They are in the initial planning stages of a 3-day Gingerbread House contest, to be held in Glendale, coincident with the 2007 Holiday Walk. The event will have the Kerry Automotive Group as its major sponsor, and will solicit additional sponsors as necessary and with specific events or activities in mind All monies raised will be used to support a Greater Cincinnati area charity. Considerable thought has already been put in to this event, and the Chamber members expressed their excitement that the event will center on Glendale. Discussions about other events and activities that the Chamber could hold around the Gingerbread House concert began this evening and will be ongoing over the next several meetings. Motion by Tom Todd seconded by Susan Kreuzman to support the Gingerbread Contest was enthusiastically passed by the members. The Town Hall is needed for the location of the event and the Chamber will work with city officials to reserve the date.

previous and possible vendors will be made with a “hold the date” type of correspondence.
