Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by President John Smith. Secretary of State renewal authorized by members for payment. Treasurer Georgia Graves reported on Chamber memberships. Also reported on the pricing for Chamber of Commerce decals ($292 for 2-color, $222 for one-color)
Nancy DeCastro and Patty Baker reported on the progress of the Gingerbread Project, scheduled for December 8 to coincide with the Holiday Home Tour. All profits will be given to the Shriners. Events are scheduled for Friday evening through Sunday. Interest in participation from Cincinnati State – head pastry chef there will make a gingerbread cake for auctioning. Interest from other Cincinnati bakeries and celebrity judges from the professional chef community. Channel 12 will provide television coverage for gingerbread house contest. Contest will include many categories to promote widespread participation. Group will be looking for businesses to sponsor student participants (cover materials cost) up to $200. Great progress being made by this group with tremendous organization. Will promote the charity involved as well as Glendale.
Jeannie Marshall , Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance, was present to discuss health insurance available to businesses through the alliance. More information is offered on their website joinSOCA.com
Other Business: June 24, 11:00am – 4:00pm, is the date for the Car Show in the Village. Larry Benhaus Orchestra will be playing in the evening.

Glendale Street Fair work committee is formed: John Smith, Dave Agricola and Steve Discepoli volunteered. Lots of others needed. Still looking for the closure of Sharon Road to encourage broader participation.
Holiday Walk will tie in with Gingerbread House event. Many ideas for chamber members to participate were discussed, including discount coupons for Glendale businesses with gingerbread admission tickets, carriage rides, window displays.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30pm. Next meeting will be held on May 9 at Piazza Discepoli.
